On July 3' 2015, Letícia Alencar was crowned Miss Piauí 2015, during the finals held at the Teatro Four September in Teresina. She will now represent Piauí at the Miss Brasil 2015.Leticia Alencar is a medical student and speaks fluent English and French. Representative of the municipality of Picos, she is 20 years old.
Miss Piauí 2015 was the 57th edition of the traditional female beauty contest of the state that had the intention to select from among several candidates of the interior and coast, the better, so that it can represent its culture and beauty in the Miss Brazil 2015 contest. In the event, the organizer decided to honour each of the candidates competing, so that all leave with a feeling of winning. Each contestant received an award for its most striking feature.
Miss Picos and now Miss Piauí 2015 received the title “Miss Internet”. Very emotional, and being widely applauded, the winner said she was fulfilling a dream. "I'm living a childhood dream, I waited my whole life for this moment, I am very happy and I do not know how to express this feeling that is in my chest.
