The Natal Representative Manoela Alves, was elected Miss Rio Grande do Norte 2015. Manoela competed with other 24 representatives of potiguares municipalities.
The Miss Rio Grande do Norte 2015 contest was held on July 17 at the Conventions Center in Natal, with exclusive Natal Band coverage. Manoella will now be representing the state in the Miss Brazil.
The 25 candidates for Miss 2015 RN paraded in bikinis and were judged by a technical jury that ranked the first 15 that were announced at the opening of the contest. The swimwear round drew a lot of attention by slender bodies at the Convention Center stage. In addition to routine tests, clips and photography, and etiquette class candidates had a full schedule throughout the week.
Miss Rio Grande do Norte 2015 was the 59th edition of the traditional female beauty contest of the State. "I am very happy with the result. Just after winning the Miss Natal, I started preparing for the Miss RN and everything worked out. I am now focusing on the Miss Brazil. I have confidence in myself and pretty sure I can well represent the state of Rio Grande do Norte. I would also like to thank the participation of 24 girls who battled with me to get this title by the jury decision and stayed with me”, said Manoela Alves.
