Katherine Espin talks about Miss Earth at Mornings @ANC

Miss Earth is part of one of the Big Four International Pageants and was organized and launched the first Miss Earth beauty pageant in 2001 to actively promote the preservation of the environment. The newly crowned Miss Earth 2016 Katherine Espin is keeping up with the advocacy of the pageant and has proven to be an amazing delegate of Miss Earth.

Miss Earth 2016 Katherine Espin recently had a TV guesting at Mornings @ANC and the beauty talked about her advocacies and how the Miss Earth pageant is different from any other pageant. Katherine said, “Miss Earth is not just about beauty, but also about being smart and eloquent. A woman must not only focus on her physical appearance -she must also enrich her knowledge because by doing so, she will have the power to be an inspiration for the society and encourage other women to be a beacon of hope to everyone!”

The stunning titleholder of the Miss Earth 2016, Katherine Espin of Ecuador, was honoured with the Lifetime Goodwill Ambassador award by the Ilocos Sur province of the Philippines, where Katherine Espin has been working from the past few months on environmental issues.
 
The Lifetime Goodwill Ambassador award ensures that Katherine can enjoy the amenities of the province just as the locals can and will have all the rights equal to a person living in the province. The beauty queen was awarded for her incredible efforts and work on environmental problems persisting in the state. The Ilocos Sur province is located in the Ilocos Region in Luzon.
