Anea Garcia, on behalf of the Miss Grand International Organization, cheerfully joined the International Women’s Day celebration parades held on March 8’ 2016 in Juba City, South Sudan, to congratulate the women of the world on this grand occasion.
As we all know that March 8th is the day the world unites to celebrate not only International Women’s Day, but also the birth of mankind. This day represents what women stand for all over the world. They are the heart, soul, and positivity of the society passed from generation to generation.

On March 8’ 2016, the reigning Miss Grand International also attended a press interview during the International Women's Day Celebration held at Nyakuron Cultural Center Meeting Hall, Juba city, Republic of South Sudan. The Press Conference was organized by Jica South Sudan and Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare.
At the same event, Anea met the Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare, Ms. Awut Deng Acuil; and Miss Grand South Sudan 2016, Sarah Gabriel. She presented a special talk under the theme "South Sudanese Pledge for Ending Child Marriage" at the Nyakuron Cultural Center Meeting Hall, Juba city, South Sudan.
