And with countries selecting representatives for international pageants, the rumour mills have started generating rumours for the year.
Previously, it was rumoured that Pham Huong, Miss Universe Vietnam 2015, will be representing Vietnam at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant. The rumours were sealed to be true with another incident that started making buzz in the pageantry. According to unknown sources, Pham Huong recently met the Miss Grand International Chairman Mr Nawat. This incident strengthened the speculations of her being Miss Grand Vietnam.
The rumour mill doesn’t stop here, there is something more. What is also making news these days, is the venue of Miss Grand International 2016. If rumours are to be believed, Miss Grand International will be moving out of Thailand this year, and will be going abroad. It is being said that the finals of Miss Grand International 2016 will be held in Vietnam. If that’s true and if Pham Hung too will be competing at the pageant, then Vietnam’s probability of winning the title doubles, as it will be difficult to beat Pham Huong in Vietnam.
