The much loved and talked about pageant of Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas, is on the table with the 2016 edition, and the excitement level is at the zenith. Bb Pilipinas was intended as a prestigious fund-raising activity for projects to benefit orphans, poor families and other less fortunate members of Philippine society. The Philippines, through BPCI, has produced the country’s best beauties. It offered Philippines with three Miss Universe winners - Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margarita Moran in 1973 and Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach 2015, four Miss International winners - Aurora Pijuan in 1970, Melanie Marquez in 1979, Lara Quigaman in 2005 and Bea Santiago in 2013, and one Miss Supranational winner, Mutya Datul Miss Supranational in 2013.
