At the magnificent finale of Miss Nepal 2016 held on April 8’ 2016, Barsha Lekhi was adjudged as the second runner-up and was crowned Miss International Nepal 2016. Barsha will now represent Nepal at the Miss International 2016 pageant. At the same event, Asmi Shrestha was crowned as Miss Nepal 2016, and Roshani Khatri was crowned Miss Earth Nepal 2016.
22 years old Barsha stands at an average height of 5’5” and hails from Saptari. “Happiness is not the matter by chance, but it is the matter by choice”, is the philosophy by which Barsha leads her life. Barsha’s hobbies are dancing, painting and travelling. Barsha has a deep fondness for the Nepali culture, and believes in sharing and spreading one’s culture. The beautiful lady has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science.
A total of 19 finalists competed for the coveted title of Miss Nepal 2016 - Ashma KC, Kritima Rimal, Sajum Katuwal, Sachina Shrestha, Jubi Joshi, Aayushma Shrestha, Roshani Khatri, Soniya Sharma, Anshu KC , Kusum Thapa Magar, Asmi Shrestha, Karuna Khadka, Anita Karki, Barsha Lekhi, Sandipa Limbu, Shrijana Regmi, Prativa Dawadi, Namrata Shrestha and Prerana Adhikari.
