At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Peru Universo 2015/ Miss Peru Universe 2015, 23 years old Laura Spoya Solano was crowned as the winner of Miss Peru Universe 2015 by the outgoing queen Jimena Espinoza. Laura will now represent Peru at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. At the same event Lorena Larriviere was adjudged the first runner-up and Marsi Fernandez ended up as the second runner-up.
23 years old Laura has a degree in Journalism and works as a sports journalist. Laura is not a newbie in the world of pageantry and has won the titles of Miss Lima 2010 Peru International 2010 and Miss World Banana Virreina 2010.
The Miss Universe Peru 2015 started off with twenty (20) contestants competing for the crown. After competing at various Preliminary competitions and events the 20 finalists were narrowed down to ten (10), five (5) leading to the final three (3).
