Sirey Moran Miss Universe Honduras 2016 is the newest target of the dethronement trend. Yes, if sources are to be believed, the beauty queen has been dethroned for breaching the rules and regulations of the Miss Universe Honduras Organisation. According to reports, has been stripped of her crown for allegedly not complying with the rules of her organization. Carlos Rivera, CARIMEXX director, said Moran has been attending events without consent and negotiating without their permission.

However, the beauty queen has a different story to share. Sirey on the other hand says that she is still very much the reigning Miss Universe Honduras. Moran said that she hasn't been dethroned officially. "No official dismissal. I'm still the queen, I have the crown and the sash and I will fight for my title," she was quoted by La Prensa.
Moran’s crowning as Miss Universe Honduras was a surprise element that happened during the finale of Miss Universe Honduras 2015. Sirey is not a newbie in the world of pageantry, and has had her share of experience in the world of glitz and glamour. She was a contestant at Miss Honduras Universe 2013, however, could not make a placement. Sirey shifted to New York after the 2013 MU Honduras pageant, and since then has been working as a professional model.
