The finals of Miss Honduras Universe 2015 that concluded on November 20’ 2015 came up with a surprise element with it. Iroshka Elvir was announced as the winner for the evening. But the surprise that unfolded was the announcement of Miss Honduras Universe 2016. Sirey Moran has been chosen as the representative of Honduras for Miss Universe 2016.

Sirey is not a newbie in the world of pageantry, and has had her share of experience in the world of glitz and glamour. She was a contestant at Miss Honduras Universe 2013, however, could not make a placement. Sirey shifted to New York after the 2013 MU Honduras pageant, and since then has been working as a professional model. Her interest in the field of modelling developed in the year 2008. She shared in an interview that like any other teenager, she too had the dream of becoming a model someday.

The announcement of Miss Honduras Universe 2016 came as a surprise to Sirey as well. As she will be now competing for the title of Miss Universe 2016, the beauty has enough time to groom her and prepare for the pageant. At the same event, Iroshka Elvir was crowned Miss Universe Honduras 2015. Iroshka will now compete at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant to be held on December 20’ 2015 in Las Vegas.
