At the conclusion of the finale of Miss World Ireland 2016 held on 23rd September 2016, Niamh Kennedy was crowned as the winner. Niamh succeeds Miss World Ireland 2015 Sacha Livingstone, and will now represent Ireland at the Miss World 2016 pageant.

The finale was a glitzy event held in Dublin’s Crowne Plaza Hotel. Niamh defeated 33 other contestants to clinch the coveted title. The 21 years old beauty was a favourite to win the title, and was also one of our favourites for the crown. The ceremony was one of the most impressive social events of the year with celebrity hosts TV3’s Elaine Crowley and Stylist Brendan Scully gracing the finale.
