The splendid finale of Miss Uganda 2015 concluded with the crowning of Nakiyaga Zahara Muhammad as the winner of Miss Uganda 2015, on the finals held on July 10’ 2015 at the Serena Hotel, Kampala. Zahara will now represent Uganda at the Miss World 2015 pageant.
23 years old Zahara defeated 21 other contestants to clinch the crown. The event was embellished with a series of dazzling performances including that of Singer Grace Nakimera who performed last before the winner was announced. Seanice Kacungira and Roger Mugisha were the hosts for the night. In addition to the crown and the title the winner walked away with a brand new Toyota Raum car.
Previous pageant winners, Leah Kalanguka, Stella Nantumbwe, Phiona Bizzu and Sylvia Namutebi graced the event with their presence. Leah Kalanguka passed on her crown to her successor Zahara, and also the responsibility to represent Uganda at the Miss World 2015 pageant. Her court includes - Nawohe Juliana who was placed first runner-up and Engrid Wanyana was placed second runner-up.
Aisha Nabukeera who was among the top 10 did not leave empty handed, was crowned Miss Rising Woman Uganda.
