Vladislava Evtushenko, the first runner-up of Miss Russia 2015, will now represent Russia at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. The announcement was made by the Miss Russia Organisation. Originally, the winner of Miss Russia competes at both Miss Universe as well as Miss World pageant. However, because of the conflicting dates of Miss World and Miss Universe, the Miss Russia organisation had to make the decision. Therefore, the winner of Miss Russia 2015, Sofia Nikitchuk will now compete at the Miss World 2015 pageant.
19 years old Vlasialava is from the small village of Chita. Standing tall at a good height of 5’8”, Vlasialava had a lot of interest in geology. She likes playing different sports and likes dancing, and is currently studying Psychology in St. Petersburg. At such a young age, Vlasialava has already established her name as a renowned model in Russia.
Russia has won the Miss Universe crown in the year 2002 with Oxana Fedorova. However, Oxana was dethroned four months later, as per some rumours stating that the beauty queen was pregnant. She denied the pregnancy rumors and stated that she voluntarily gave up her crown for personal reasons, mainly because she wanted to finish her law degree.
