Yamelin Ramírez Cota, the reigning Nuestra Belleza Sonora, has been crowned Nuestra Belleza Mundo Mexico 2014 (Miss World Mexico 2014) at the pre-finals event of Nuestra Belleza México 2014 pageant held on October 23' 2014. She succeeds Daniela Alvarez, who is Mexican representative at upcoming Miss World 2014 pageant. Alessa Bravo was adjudged the first runner-up at the event.
Yamelin will now represent Mexico in Miss World 2015 pageant next year. Yamelin is 21 years of age and stands tall at 175 cm. She represented the province of Sonora at the pageant. Having been crowned Nuestra Belleza Mundo Mexico 2014, she will now not compete at the finals of the pageant to be held on October 25' 2014.
