Miss Mundo Colombia or Miss World Colombia is an annual national beauty pageant held in Colombia to select representatives for Miss World pageant. Miss Mundo Colombia organisation was established in the year 1990. And since 1992, the organisation has been sending a representative to the pageant.

Edgar Botero, an engineer by profession, is the president of the organisation. The Executive Director is Katherine Prieto Botero who is a Dentist by profession. The other members of the organisation includes, Miss World Colombia 1995 Diana Maria Figueroa Castellanos, Miss World Colombia 1997 Gladys Buitrago, Miss World Colombia 2000 Duran Andrea Prieto, Miss World Colombia 2002 Natalia Peralta Castro, Miss World Colombia 2005 Querubin Erika, Miss World Colombia 2006 Elizabeth Loaiza Junca and Miss World Colombia 2007 Maria Jose Torrenegra Ariza.

Miss Mundo Colombia pageant has stood out for its achievement in helping the needy children. The organisation has been nominated in recent years, as the country which has worked towards solving social issues. Apart from the good looks, the pageant focuses on finding a delegate who can represent the country with its work.

Colombia has never won any Miss World title so far, but the highest placements that the country hold have been in the year 1996 and 2002. Carolina Arango Corrales in 1996 was adjudged as the first runner-up and Natalia Peralta Castro in the year 2002 was titled first runner-up. Daniela Ramos Lalinde in 2009 was placed as the sixth runner-up and aso won the Special Award for Miss World Golf. The reigning Miss Mundo Colombia is Jessica Leandra García Caicedo who represented Colombia at the Miss World 2014 pageant. However, Jessica remained unplaced.

On the eve of September 5’2015 Jessica will pass on her reign and her crown to her successor.
