Miss Curaçao also known as Miss Universe Curaçao is an annual national beauty pageant of Curaçao that selects the country's representatives for Miss Universe international pageant. Currently, Cordja Star Promotions owns the license to organize the most important pageant of the island.
Curaçao has been sending its representatives for Miss Universe since 1963, though has not won any title so far. Annemarie Braafheid who represented Curaçao at Miss Universe 1968 managed to get the highest placement for her country in the history of Miss Universe, when she became the first runner-up. Further, Anneke Dijkhuizen in 1976, Jacqueline Nelleke Josien Krijger in 1991 and Verna Angela Maria Vasquez in 1997 managed to place at the finals of the Miss Universe pageant in respective years.
The reigning queen - Miss Universe Curaçao 2014 - is Laurien Angelista who was crowned at the finals of the 2014 edition held on June 7' 2014. She competed in Miss Universe 2014 pageant held in Florida, USA this January, though could not manage to place at the finals.
Prior to Laurien, Eline de Pool was crowned as Miss Universe Curaçao 2013, and Monifa Jansen was crowned Miss Universe Curaçao 2012.
