Miss World Ecuador is an annual national beauty pageant held in Ecuador since 2013 and is organized by Miss Ecuador Organization, chaired by Julián Pico. Miss World Ecuador represents Ecuador at Miss World pageant.
The first edition of Miss World Ecuador was held on July 4, 2013. Prior to July 4’ 2013, first runner-up of Miss Ecuador pageant represented Ecuador at Miss World pageant. Laritza Párraga from Santo Domingo was crowned as Miss World Ecuador 2013.
In 2014, the 2nd edition of the beauty pageant was held. Virginia Limongi from Manabí was crowned by Laritza Párraga of Santo Domingo on the October 4’ 2014 as the Miss World Ecuador 2014.
The 3rd edition was held on August 1, 2015. Manabí’s Virginia Limongi crowned her successor Camila Marañón as Miss World Ecuador 2015. Camila was also from Manabí and she represented Ecuador at the Miss World 2015, making it t the top 20 finalists.
The Miss World Ecuador 2016 was the 4th edition of the pageant. The finals were held on the October 15. Mirka Paola Cabrera Mazzini was crowned by Camila Marañón of Manabí as her successor Miss World Ecuador 2016. She will represent the country at the Miss World 2016 pageant finals awaited in December 2016.
