Miss Malaysia World is an annual national pageant of Malaysia that selects representatives for the Miss World pageant. Malaysia has been sending delegates to the Miss World since 1963, with its headquarters based in Kuala Lumpur.

Datuk Anna Lim, twice international beauty queen, has been appointed as the official pageant licensee and organiser for the prestigious Miss Malaysia World since June 2013. Anna was crowned Miss Malaysia Universe 1990 and also won the title of Miss Malaysia World 2004. She was given the authorization by the chairman and chief executive officer of the Miss World Organisation Julia Morley in a simple ceremony in London.

“I want to send out the message that beauty queens are not just known for their looks but also for the contribution they’ve made for the society,” says Anna. The pageant aims at bringing contestants who can impress them with their intelligence and personality.

Dewi Liana Seriestha was crowned Miss Malaysia World 2014 and represented Malaysia at the Miss World 2014 pageant. Dewi was the winner of Talent Fast Track round at the Miss World 2014 and was also one of the Top 25 finalists. Recently, on August 29’ 2015, Dewi passed on her crown to her successor Brynn Zalina Lovett. Brynn hailing from Sabah will now represent Malaysia at the Miss World 2015 pageant.
