Miss Universe Slovenia (Miss Universe Slovenije) is one of the most renowned national contests of the Slovenia. It is held annually to select the representative of the country at the prestigious Big 4 beauty pageant, the Miss Universe.

Lucija Potocnik is the reigning Miss Universe Slovenia (Miss Universe Slovenije) beauty queen. She was crowned as the winner at the end of the splendid finale of Miss Universe Slovenia 2016 which was held on June 24’ 2016.

Miss Universe Slovenia 2015 Ana Halozan passed on her crown to the new winner of the national pageant, Lucija. The Miss Universe Slovenije  2016 Lucija Potocnik went on to represent Slovenia at the Miss Universe 2016 beauty pageant but could not make it to the Top three.
