Miss World Slovenia is an annual national beauty pageant held in Slovenia to select representative for the Miss World pageant. The first Miss World Slovenia winner was crowned in the year 1990 where Vesna Music was crowned as the winner.

Since 1992, Slovenia began competing at the Miss World pageant, and Miss Slovenia 1992 Nataša Abram became the first Slovenian woman to represent the country at the Miss World pageant.

Slovenia has not yet won a Miss World title. In 2005, Sanja Grohar managed placements in the following category -

Top 19 at Miss World Beach Beauty

Top 16 at Miss World Talent (2nd Runner Up Best Singing Act Performance)

2nd Runner Up at Miss World Sport (With Southern Europe Group)

In 2006, Iris Mulej made it to the Top 25 at Miss World Beach Beauty

In 2011, Lana Mahnic Jekoš managed 74th placement at the Beauty with a Purpose

Miss World Slovenia 2016

Maja Taradi was crowned Miss World Slovenia 2016 at the finals held on 8th September 2016. Maja is a graduate in dental prosthetics and is a student of oral hygiene. The newly crowned beauty makes sure to groom herself overcoming all her flaws and has excellent communication skills.

Miss World Slovenia 2015

Mateja Kociper was crowned as the Miss Slovenia 2015 (Miss Slovenia World 2015) at the finals held on September 10’ 2015. Mateja studied telecommunications and defines the perfect Slovenian beauty. Vesna Music of Velenje was the first Miss Slovenia, however, she didn’t compete at the Miss World pageant.
