Miss Universe Sri Lanka, formerly known as Miss Ceylon or Miss Universe Ceylon is a national beauty pageant held in Sri Lanka to select representatives for the Miss Universe beauty pageant. Sri Lanka made its debut at the Miss Universe pageant in the year 1957.
Sri Lanka has never managed to place at Miss Universe pageant. The highest placement that the country managed was in the year 1955, when Maureen Neliya Hingert finished as the second runner-up at Miss Universe pageant. In 2006, Sri Lanka made it to the Top 20 finalists list under the representation of Jacqueline Fernandez. In 2012, the country placed as the third runner-up under the representation of Sabrina Herft.
The country has also managed to win the Best National Costume award twice at Miss Universe. In 2006 (Jacqueline Fernandez), and in 2012 (Sabrina Herft).
