Miss World 2013 : Info

Miss World 2013, the 63rd edition of Miss World, was held on 28th September 2013 at Bali Nusa Dua International Convention Center, South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. Megan Young of the Philippines was crowned the new queen at the end of the event finale by her predecessor Yu Wenxia of China, marking the only time to date that the Philippines has won the Miss World title.

Contestants from 127 countries and territories competed in this year's Miss World pageant, marking the biggest turnout for any major international beauty pageant as of 2021. The show was hosted by singer and supermodel Myleene Klass, theatre Producer Kamal Ibrahim and Actor Daniel Mananta, while television personalities Amanda Zevannya and Steve Douglas provided commentary and analysis. Singer-songwriter Matt Cardle and Eurovision winner Blue, both of Britain, performed.

Marine Lorphelin from France and Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter from Ghana were adjudged first and second runners-up respectively. Top 6 also included Sancler Frantz from Brazil, Maroua Kharbouch from Gibraltar, Elena Ibarbia from Spain. Top 10 also included Erin Holland from Australia, Kirsty Heslewood from England, Vania Larissa from Indonesia, Gina Harigitay from Jamaica and Ishani Shrestha from Nepal.

Top 20 also included Larissa Leeuwe from Aruba, Noémie Happart from Belgium, Camille Munro from Canada, Joely Bernat from Dominican Republic, Navneet Kaur Dhillon from India, Sarah Baderna from Italy, Jacqueline Steenbeek from Netherlands, Karolína Chomistekova from Slovakia, Anna Zayachkivska from Ukraine, Olivia Jordan from United States.
