Miss World Manabi 2018 Nina Solórzano was showered with love and appreciation as she was announced Miss Intercontinental Ecuador 2018 at the finale night of Miss World Ecuador 2018, held on 23rd June 2018. As a part of the top 3 and then being sashed as the second princess, Nina Solórzano really made a mark at the competition.

After the coronation night, Nina Solórzano and Carla Prado were presented with their crowns and official sashes in the after finale ceremony. Carla Prado was crowned Miss Supranational Ecuador 2018. Nina was crowned by the outgoing Miss Intercontinental Ecuador 2017 Joselyn Valeria Ruiz Sánchez. She will now represent Ecuador at Miss Intercontinental 2018.

The 22-year-old Nina Solórzano is a student of Medicine at the Technical University in Manabi. Nina also expressed her joy on her social media, saying, “God Is fair! I am so grateful to him for this beautiful life experience and for the opportunity to be part of such a prestigious organization. Rest assured that we will be worthy representatives of the beauty and intellectuality of the Ecuadorian woman. Thanks to all the people who believed in me and supported me from the beginning of this journey, without you none of this would be possible.”

She went on to thank her whole team who handled her outfits to her hair and makeup at the finale. Nina also thanked her beautiful family, her unconditional friends and the strangers who joined her to praise the name of Manabí. There is no doubt Nina will represent her country with hard work and determination at the international pageant as well.
