The Miss Mondo Italia organization hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss Mondo Italia 2021 (Miss World Italy 2021) on 26th September 2021 in Gallipoli, Apulia, Italy, where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and an opportunity to represent their country at the international stage. The winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2021 title is Claudia Motta of Lazio. She succeeded Miss Mondo Italia 2019 Adele Sammartino to the title.

The 21-year-old is a third year Law Student at La Sapienza University and currently lives in Velletri (an Italian comune in the Metropolitan City of Rome) with her family. Claudia can speak both English and German and has been studying classical and contemporary dance from the National Dance Academy in Rome ever since she was a child.

“It is a privilege to represent the colours of my nation and a great responsibility to carry on the "Autism On The Road Project" that I will present at Miss World; Puerto Rico is waiting for me,” Claudia said on her road to Miss World 2021 as she bested 24 other talented candidates to the national title.

Miss Mondo Italia 2021 Claudia Motta’s court included-

First runner-up: Lucia La Paglia

Second runner-up: Martina Ballardini

There was no pageant held last year due to the impact of COVID-19. Whereas in 2019, Adele Sammartino represented Italy at the Miss World pageant where she was highly appreciated for her performance and made it to the Top 40 finalists for the Miss World Top Model title.

This year, Claudia will represent Italy at the 70th Miss World pageant, to be held on 16th December 2021 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica will crown her successor at the end of the event.
