Miss World Fiji organisation recently announced the names of the Top 10 finalists who will be competing for the title this year. The top 10 selected candidates of Miss World Fiji 2016 are; Kacilala Tuimaloku, Gianoula Sefeti, Vika Fifita, Pooja Priyanka, Nanise Raboliku, Crystal Singh, Heather Vakasoso, Vani Dakunivecena, Caroline Gatu and Sandra Ratusau.

The finalists of Miss World Fiji 2016 were revealed in a ceremony held at The Grand Pacific Hotel. The wardrobe of the finalists was taken care by the Pacific Island Art, while their hair and make-up was completed by Stanley Morrell. In addition, the official group photograph was clicked by the ace photographer, Zahoor Shah.

The ten finalists have been selected from all over Fiji, and the contestants are all set to compete against each-other at the gala finale, which is slated to be held on May 7’ 2016 at The Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva. The winner of Miss World Fiji will have the opportunity to represent the South Pacific country at Miss World 2016.

At the end of the Miss World Fiji 2016 competition, Brittany Hazelman, Miss World Fiji 2015 will pass her crown and reign to her successor. 

This will be the sixth edition of Miss World Fiji and the man who is responsible for selecting 10 finalists, training them for stage, finalising wardrobes, producing the contest and preparing Miss Fiji for the international Miss World competition, is FBC TV producer and presenter, Andhy Blake.

“I was always fascinated with the Miss World contest since age five and remember watching each year, memorising the title holders,” he said.

Adding - “It was the beauty of the women and stage productions that captured my attention. It was always my vision to be affiliated to such an organisation as Miss World and now I have fulfilled that goal.”
