It was a farewell press conference for Miss Supranational Philippines 2015 Rogelie Catacutan, and a welcome back event for Bb. Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina. The event was held at the Gateway Mall in Cubao, Quezon City on Monday, November 9.
Both Rogelie and Janicel were misty-eyed as the beauties were bestowed with appreciating words and approvals from their beloveds. Janicel made it to the Top 10 of Miss International 2015 and was bestowed with ‘Miss Best Dresser’ during the finals held last November 5 in Tokyo, Japan.
On the other hand, the pretty Cebuana, Rogelie, will be departing for Poland soon to kick start with her quest for the Miss Supranational 2015 crown and will hopefully become the country’s second biggest winner of the title. Janicel shared her experience at the Miss International 2015 pageant and said, “I have no regrets. I did my best and I am so grateful for the opportunity to represent our country in the best way I could.”
Janicel expressed her joy and was thankful for her amazing journey. She added that she will forever cherish those memories and lessons that she learned from the whole experience.
“I am so grateful to everyone who supported me. (Sa pamilya ko at sa lahat nang nagtiwala sa akin, maraming maraming salamat po). I did my best and being able to go there to compete is an achievement in itself. (Dahil doon, mas nakilala ko ang sarili ko). I became more prayerful and I learned how to get along with people from other races. I really enjoyed my stay in Japan,” she added.
