Alyssa Rose crowned Miss World Bermuda 2015

At the splendid finale of Miss Bermuda 2015 held on July 5’ 2015 at the Fairmont Hotel in Southampton, 22 years old Alyssa Rose was crowned as the winner. Alyssa will now represent Bermuda at the Miss World 2015 pageant. She competed with five other contenders to clinch the title. Lillian Lightbourn, the outgoing queen passed on her crown to Alyssa at the end of the coronation night.

22 years old Rose completed her education from the Bermuda High School and further went on to study a Foundation Degree in Art and Design at the University for the Creative Arts Canterbury. She then went on to finish her undergraduate degree at Nottingham Trent University, and recently concluded her Masters degree in Marketing and Brand Management at Kingston University, London.

The six contestants competing for the title were - Tamara Bradshaw, Ligaya Sanchez-Wilson, Brittany Madeiros, Kathryn O’Connor, Kayla Williams and the winner Alyssa Rose. The event was hosted by Nadanja Bailey and Patrina “Power Girl” Paynter. The contestants competed in different preliminary competitions including swimsuit competition, evening gown competition and at last the interview segment.
