Jane Teoh Jun is one of the strongest delegates competing for the crown of Miss Universe 2018. She is experienced in the pageant world and due to her career choice of being a model, she has the confidence and stage presence which will take her to the top.
The 21-year-old professional model was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 during its grand finale held on 11th January. This earned her the right to represent Malaysia in Miss Universe this year. At the conclusion of the finale, this Malaysian beauty queen was crowned by the outgoing Miss Universe Malaysia 2017 Samantha James.
Jane is no stranger to the pageant world as she was discovered when she won a local modelling search named Face of Beauty Malaysia in the year 2017 and went on to represent her nation in the international finale - Face of Beauty International 2017, making the place in the Top 10. Being an introvert, Jane had worked very hard to pluck up the courage to come out of her comfort zone and speak in front of a massive crowd.
Born in Penang, Jane is a student who is pursuing a degree in accountancy and is currently in her second year. During her free time, she likes to dance and is training to become better at contemporary dancing. Jane is also multilingual as she can speak fluently in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia languages.
Jane is very ambitious and gives in her everything in matters that are close to the heart. Cyberbullying is an issue that is very close to her heart and she has even attended campaigns to create awareness about it and help with its prevention. She reportedly attended a campaign in March 2018.
Jane is surely going to make her nation proud in the finale of Miss Universe 2018. Her courage and determination make her a very special delegate which is why she is one of Angelopedia’s Top 20 favourite delegates for the title of Miss Universe this year.
