We are back with some more news on Donald Trump. No, this time not really anything controversial or any dispute striking comments, but this time the man is in news for reasons that might bring a smile to few fan’s face. As we know that Miss Universe is jointly owned by NBC and Donald Trump and Donald owns 49% of shares, which the latter is apparently selling off. As per rumours, many bidders have approached the organisation with their stakes and the top most bidder of the share being Ari Emanuel.

Ari, who is an American talent agent and Co-Owner of William Morris Endeavor (WME) might just be the new co-owner of the pageant. He was the founding partner of the Endeavor Talent Agency. As the rumours regarding Ari’s bid are creeping in, the pageant world is flooding in with their expert opinions on the matter. Many also believe that Donald Trump should give away his ownership as the brand image has been damaged too much in the past few months. And it would only be sensible to give away the ownership before it gets too late. However, some are also of the opinion that Trump knows how to remain in news and it’s because of this that the Miss Universe pageant gained followers too fast worldwide. And hence, Donald Trump should continue as the co-owner. So, there is amalgamation of mixed reviews in the beauty pageant world. According to an insider, “Emanuel and WME/IMG could modernize the pageant and make it into an even bigger franchise. It could easily live within IMG, which produces New York Fashion Week and has successful fashion and modelling divisions.”

WME/IMG and Trump, however, refused to comment on the matter. If the ownership moves out of Donald’s hands, there is a chance that the withdrawn countries might as well come back.
