India’s first Miss Supranational and second Asian titleholder, Asha Bhat who was crowned as Miss Supranational on December 5’ 2014 in Poland has been honored with the Lions Gold Awards. The diva got felicitated for her outstanding contribution towards beauty pageants in India at the Lions Gold Awards 2015.
Asha Bhat was also acknowledged with the title of “Beauty with a Purpose” at the Lions Gold Awards 2015. Asha, who is renowned as an epitome of natural beauty and humbleness was found donning an Indian lehenga at the event. After receiving the award and honor, the beauty queen took over her social media handle as she wrote: “Ranveer (a celebrated Bollywood actor) and I were bestowed with the Best actor and Beauty with a purpose award respectively at The Lions Gold Awards last night. Its an honour for me to be sharing the stage with the dashing @ranveersingh !! We danced on the tunes of Malhari from Bajirao Mastani !! Thank you Sol Lions and congratulations Ranveer.”

Lately, Asha Bhat was also featured on Bangalore and Mumbai times with the girls who made India proud. The diva was overwhelmed with the recognition and thereby expressed: “Beauty pageant is a kind of sport, it takes a lot of perseverance, hardwork and confidence to be the best of yourself at an international platform and to win hearts of people across the world. Let's give a cheer to all the girls who represented our country beautifully to their best.”
Asha was also awarded as NCC-Cadet ambassador of India at SAARC in 2009. Not so long back, she inaugurated the famous fashion brand Mebaz at Hyderabad. She was also honored by the BRAIN center as their official ambassador, the organization which offers help to the children with learning disabilities and was awarded with the title, "Akshaya Prathiba", meaning infinitely talented. She helped the Terry Fox Foundation to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and was conferred with the honorary title of "The Brand ambassador for the Platinum world group". She joined the "Smile Torch" movement with Indian dental association in creating awareness regarding dental health. Currently she is supporting the NGO Go Green Stay Clean, she has been working with this NGO since her Miss Diva days.
