Asha Bhat makes India proud, wins the award for ‘Best Talent’ round in Miss Supranational 2014

Asha Bhat from India has won the ‘Best Talent’ round in Miss Supranational 2014 taking place in Poland. She gave an outstanding performance on the medley of three Bollywood songs namely ‘Kajra re’ from the movie ‘Bunty and Bubli’, ‘nagada sang dhol baaje’ from the movie ‘Ramleela’ and ‘Yaar Na Miley’ from the movie ‘Kick’ presenting three forms of dance which were Belly Dancing, Bollywood and traditional Indian Garba. The act performed by Asha was choreographed by Khush Numa Daruvalla.

She competed with 70 other contenders. The competition was neck to neck but still Asha managed to bag 1st position because of her hard work and immense talent. At the same event, Maggaly Ornellia Emmanuelle Nguema from Gabon was 1st runner up, Helena Hanni from Estonia was 2nd runner up,  Yvonne Amores from Australia was 3rd runner up and Barbera Marrero from Puerto Rico was 4th runner up.

Asha is a student of R.V college of Engineering in Bangalore. She is a skilled Bharatnatyam dancer, member of NCC delegation from SAARC nations that visited Srilanka,  a Veena player, choreographs flash mobs and also excels in shooting. Must say, the girl is a complete package having beauty with brains mixed with a  flavor of hard work and dedication.

With a talent like that, let’s see if Asha Bhat would be able to clinch the Miss Supranational title for India.
