Aye Nyein Swe, aka Emerald Nyein who has won Miss International Myanmar 2015 has now placed her candidacy on the upcoming pageant, Miss Universe Myanmar. The beauty queen has come back to pageantry after a hiatus of four years.

Emerald Nyein hailing from Yangon was crowned Miss International Myanmar 2015, defeating 19 other equally stunning girls. Emerald then represented Myanmar at the Miss International 2015 pageant held in Tokyo, Japan. She also won the special award of Miss Popularity.

She was not new to the pageant world even in 2015 and had competed at Miss Universe Myanmar 2014 the previous year. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Yangon Unversity of Distance Education is a freelance model in Myanmar. Emerald is a renowned personality back in Myanmar and has graced many magazine covers and fashion editorials. She has featured in assorted music videos and various advertisements.

Emerald always showcased her li=ove for cinema, and the wish to be an actor.

At Miss Universe Myanmar 2014, Gouldian was the official partner for the pageant, and groomed the beauty winner, Miss Universe Myanmar 2014 Sharr Htut Eaindra, after she won the competition. Emerald seems to have taken a step forward this year, and she prepares with the very same brand. She is seen attending sessions and prepping full time with Gouldian to compete Miss Universe Myanmar in 2019.

Emerald has always talked about how it is her dream is to represent her country on Miss Universe stage. Let’s see if this year turns out to be the year of dreams coming true for her.
