Yesterday afternoon on March 5’ 2016, the Bb. Pilipinas 2016 Talent Competition was held at the Activity Center of Gateway Mall with quite a crazy crowd in attendance. Eighteen of the Forty Binibinis displayed their skills in singing, dancing and more.

And among the performers, it’s quite easy to short-list the six (6) Best in Talent. Actually, we think that the #1 spot is practically a given for Binibini 24 Niza Sabrina Sophia Limjap who delivered a stirring rendition of “On My Own” from Les Miserables. There were three who stood out in this department – Binibini 1 Janelle Olafson, Binibini 7 Angelique de Leon and Binibini 16 VinaOpeniano in that order. The ultimate choice would be one of the four mentioned.

We would also like to cite the more than creditable performances of Binibini 12 Edjelyn Joy Gamboa in vocals and Binibini 22 Apriel Smith who did a bouncy Beyonce lip-sync complete with all the right moves.

The candidates of Bb Pilipinas 2016 also introduced themselves to the public during the Talent Competition held at the Gateway Activity Center in Cubao, Quezon City.

All in all, we have to say that the majority of those who participated in this event, really showed talent and not just something rehearsed for exposure. Not bad collectively.

The finale of the exquisite pageant will take place on April 17, 2016, wherein Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, who is also the reigning Miss Universe, will crown her successor as Philippines’s next representative to Miss Universe 2016.
