20 year old beauty queen from Indiana, Abby Sutherland died in a brutal car accident on Saturday night. According to sources, Abby Sutherland was the reigning queen of the Miss Crawford County pageant. She was to appear at the Indiana State Fair in the month of August.

As per reports, the vehicle she was in, lost control and flipped over hitting several trees. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office. The cause for the accident has not yet been explained and the person driving the vehicle has not been identified, but he or she survived the crash and was taken to the University Hospital in Louisville.

Abby’s death came as a shock to her friends and family. “She loved everything about life, had so much to give, so much left ahead of her, she was amazing,” said Tigre Flannery, a friend of Abby Sutherland. “Heaven has one more beautiful angel,” her brother Joshua Sutherland wrote on Facebook. “You will be greatly missed!!!!! Love you!!!!!!”

As a tribute to her, an online dedication depicted Sutherland in her beauty queen dress with a halo drawn above her tiara with the caption “Holding her halo with her crown.” A white cross has been planted at the accident spot of Abby Sutherland, with the name Abby inscribed along with flowers and a crown.
