Binibining Pilipinas 2015 (Miss Universe Philippines 2015), the 52^nd edition of Binibining Pilipinas pageant, has started with the preliminary screenings held from January 6'2015 to January 9' 2015. The final event is expected to be held on March 15, 2015 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. The preliminary screenings have finished and soon the list of official candidates will be announced

The winner of the Bb Pilipinas 2015 will succeed Mary Jean Lastimosa, the Miss Universe Philippines 2014, who is currently in Doral, Miami competing for Miss Universe 2014. Besides sending representative for Miss Universe pageant, the Bb Pilipinas pageant also selects Philippines' representatives for Miss International, Miss Supranational, and Miss Intercontinental pageants.

Let us have a look at the winners of the 2014 edition, and their placements at various international pageants -

1. Mary Jean Lastimosa (Miss Universe Philippines 2014) - Currently competing for Miss Universe 2014 pageant, finals whereof will be held on January 25' 2015 in Doral, Miami, USA

2. Mary Anne Bianca Guidotti (Miss Philippines International 2014) - Represented Philippines at Miss International 2014 pageant in Japan, though failed to make it to Top 10 finalists.

3. Yvethe Marie Santiago (Miss Philippines Supranational 2014) - Represented Philippines at Miss Supranational 2014 pageant in Poland, she also failed to make it to Top 10 finalists, though was amongst Top 20 semifinalists.

4. Kris Tiffany Janson (Miss Philippines Intercontinental 2014) - Represented Philippines at Miss Intercontinental 2014 pageant in Germany, and finished as the second runner-up.

So far, the BB Pilipinas 2014 queens have failed to win any international crown for Philippines in 2014, and all eyes are on M J Lastimosa for Miss Universe 2014.
