2016 has just begun and Philippines is wasting to no time to plan a good Binibining Pilipinas national pageant. Philippines has begun the search to find a deserving queen, who could match it up with Pia Wurtzbach’s demeanor.

Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated has organized the screenings for Binibining Pilipinas 2016 today at the Novotel Araneta. The screenings have already concluded in few cities, and are expected to reach other cities very soon. The finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2016 is slated to be held in April 2016, wherein the reigning Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach who herself hails from Philippines will crown her successor at the end of the event.

The winner and runners-up of Binibining Pilipinas 2016 will represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2016, Miss International 2016, Miss Supranational 2016, and Miss Intercontinental 2016, and other minor global pageants such as, Miss Tourism Queen International 2016.

Considering the right amount of effort, Philippines is investing in pageantry, it would not be wrong to say that the next representative of Philippines will be yet again a force to reckon with. Philippines is the only country to have won three Miss Universe crowns in Asia, and holds the six consecutive placement record at Miss Universe since 2010.
