Binibining Pilipinas 2018 is probably the most famous and anticipated competition of this year where a ton of applicants from all walks of life has applied to try their luck. Whether it’s the big brands like Aces & Queens or Kagandahang Flores, these girls have a plethora of people behind their grooming and training and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that each and every one of these applicants has what it takes to be a part of Top 40.

Nonetheless, only few will be chosen through the final screenings of Binibining Pilipinas 2018 which are all set to take place today and Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Rachel Peters will be a part of the judges’ panel at the screenings. 

This makes sense also considering that she’s the reigning Miss Universe Philippines and knows what is required of a candidate for the final selection. It’s some sort trend that the reigning Miss Universe Philippines is always a part of the screenings as last year, Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina also attended the final screening. She did leave quite early though, the reason not known to date.

Rachel Peters made the Philippines proud with her placement in Miss Universe 2017. She was in the Top 10 finalists of the competition but failed to secure a position in Top 5. People from all over the Philippines were rooting for her win and she got the loudest cheers from the crowd when she was on stage.
