Binibining Pilipinas 2018 competition has started with a bang! The first leg of pageant is starting with the official web interviews of all the Top 40 candidates where they are eyeing to make first impressions through their articulate skills and confidence.
It is in this web video that all the candidates give their official introduction. They tell us about themselves, their likes and dislikes. A spontaneous Question and Answer round is thrown their way to judge the candidates’ intellect, their thought process along with their eloquent communication skills.
Web interview is a very important part of the contest as this leaves the first impressions of all the girls and also they are reviewed on the basis of their conduct in the interview. The BPCI generally wants the girls to have fun and be natural, not too rehearsed during these interviews.
Last year, in all the major international beauty pageants, only Karen Ibasco got a prominent placement, becoming the winner of Miss Earth 2017. Other than that no other Filipina beauty queens from 2017 batch could do much in the major international pageants. So, it is predicted that the BPCI is going to do a thorough evaluation of all the 40 candidates before the finale night in March, 2018. In these evaluations girls will go through various photo shoots, runway skills, intellect, spontaneity, along with the overall personality of the candidate.
With all the strictness and many hurdles, we are sure these candidates are going to turn into the best version of themselves and they are ready to face any kind of challenge thrown their way in the international pageants of 2018.
