Binibining Pilipinas Organization unveiled the Top 40 delegates on 6th February 2020 as these Top 40 divas will fight for the national titles and the chance to represent Philippines at various international pageants. The well-known face of the Philippines, Hazel Joy Ortiz was awarded Binibini No. 39 as she secured her rightful spot in the Top 40 along with other Filipina beauties.
Hazel Joy Ortiz who hails from Pasig City is 25-years-old and stands 172cm tall and currently works as fitness instructor and professional model. The diva is very honoured and blessed to be a part of a platform after which she gets to represent Philippines at international level if she wins the title. She is very excited to be the part of Binibining Pilipinas 2020.
Hazel is not new to pageantry as she holds the title of Miss Bikini Philippines 2014, World Supermodel Philippines 2016 and Miss Oriental Tourism Philippines 2017. She has a lot of experience in the world of pageantry because of the number of titles she has won and she has also walked on ramp for designers learning and experiencing modelling shows. She has knowledge of fashion and modelling and likes to experiment with both. She likes to travel and explore places and gain knowledge about the Philippine culture, traditions and values.
Hazel is a fitness instructor and usually spends her time working out in the gym. For a diva who has won the title of Miss Bikini Philippines 2014, fitness comes first. She not only trains herself but others too and as a YouTube channel where she makes videos about her workout for others too. She wants to use the platform for advocating a healthy lifestyle among youth. She wishes that youth would understand the importance of being fit and healthy and would like to advocate about it. She eats the right food and tries to balance her portions out accordingly. Hazel was also on the cover girl of a magazine “DASH” which is a traveller magazine.
Hazel is passionate about working out but she is also passionate about being a beauty queen and representing Philippines at international level too. She has started to prep her up for the event finale where she will be competing with beautiful 39 other contestants for the coveted crown. She is extremely confident and working on her walk, posing, body language and interview skills for the competition. She is hardworking and dedicated towards her goal which is now Binibining Pilipinas 2020. She can be a tough competition for other contenders of the national crown.
The 57th edition of Binibining Pilipinas i.e., Bininbining Pilipinas 2020 will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines. Binibining Pilipinas 2020 will award four titles to Philippine representatives to four major international beauty pageants which are Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2020, Binibining Pilipinas International 2020, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2020, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2020 and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2020.
