The 57th edition of Binibining Pilipinas i.e., Bininbining Pilipinas 2020 will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines. Binibining Pilipinas Organization unveiled the Top 40 delegates on 6th February 2020 as these Top 40 divas will fight for the national titles and the chance to represent Philippines at various international pageants. The 21-year-old Filipina beauty Shaira Marie Rona was awarded Binibini No. 10 as she made it to the list.
Born and raised in the city of Pampanga, Shaira currently resides in Mandaluyong City. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Development Management from Rizal Technology University. Along with her bachelor’s degree, the diva also graduated with Latin Honours and was one of the top Human Resource students in the university.
Shaira started her pageant journey in 2016 when she participated in various school pageants before starting off for the national pageants. She was crowned Miss RTU 2016 and represented her school in Miss PASUC NCR where she took home the crowned of Miss PASUC NCR 2016. She later represented National Capital Region in Miss PASUC National where she was placed as second runner-up. Shaira Rona was announced Miss Mandaluyong 2018 after which she represented her city in Miss Millennial Philippines 2018.
Shaira is a human resource officer volunteer in a non-profit organization who aims to promote sustainable tourism in Philippines. She wants to raise awareness about the excessive use of plastic and how it contaminates the ocean. Shaira is particularly concerned about the increase of micro plastics levels in the ocean which endangers the corals and is consumed by the marine life. She wants to use the platform like Binibining Pilipinas 2020 to preach her message out to the people and urge them to make a change towards ones’ lifestyle choices.
Shaira also participated in Miss Scuba Philippines 2018 and was placed at Top 8 of the competition. She participated in the Top 10 Ambassadress of the World. With so much of experience in the field of beauty pageants, Shaira will be one of the strongest contenders for the title of Binibining Pilipinas 2020.
Shaira Marie has a lot of experience in the field and is aware with how the beauty pageant industry works. She has walked onstage and worked for various designers and photographers. The raven-haired beauty is determined and hard working towards whatever she sets her mind on and this time it’s the Binibining Pilipinas 2020 title.
Binibining Pilipinas 2020 will award four titles to Philippine representatives to four major international beauty pageants which are Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2020, Binibining Pilipinas International 2020, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2020, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2020 and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2020.
