Remember Brenda Azaria Jimenez who was appointed as Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2016, after the original winner, Kristhielee Caride was dethroned of the Miss Universe Puerto Rico crown? She is again in the news for being appointed as Puerto Rico’s representative to Miss Grand International 2017 beauty pageant.
The stunner is a 22-year-old Biology and Psychology Honors student at the University of Puerto Rico with the towering height of 176 cm. She wants to become a Neonatal Pediatrician in hopes of serving children to have a better quality of life.
Jimenez was raised in Aguadilla Puerto Rico where she played with various basketball teams on local as well as national level. Pigeon racing, horseback riding and modeling are some of her hobbies. Throughout her life, she has volunteered with public initiatives to aid the poor by collecting food and personal items.

She participated in the prestigious Miss Universe 2016 pageant but was unplaced. She will now have a golden chance to prove her mettle by participating in Miss Grand International 2017 beauty pageant, slated to be held in Vietnam this October. Ariska Putri Pertiwi is the reigning Miss Grand International and will crown her successor at the grand finale night.
