With the pre-screening for Binibining Pilipinas 2020 to be held soon, the list of contestants gracing the venue with their presence is increasing by the hour. Another name that is doing rounds is of Carina Cariño, a fresh graduate of Applied Economics from DLSU-Manila and she’s currently a student-pilot.
Carina is a stunning beauty and has impressed everyone with her grace and elegance. She is also not new to the pageant world as she competed in Miss Millennial Philippines 2017 and was adjudged as the 1st Runner-Up. She also won the Mutia ti La Union 2017 and Miss Agoo 2016 pageants. With all of her experience, she is bound to be a strong contender for the crown if she participates.
If she decides to bring her elegance and grace at the national contest, she will definitely bring back the glory days of international pageant winners. With her confidence and the way, she presents herself, Carina is best suited to represent Philippines at Miss International 2020.
Aside from her mother, her mentor has been a guiding figure in her life as she also put it into words at the finale of the last pageant, she competed it in 2017. She doesn’t believe that women can just be biological females but also people who identify with the gender, welcoming the era of change and acceptance of everything people stand for including the gender recognition structure in a person’s life.
She is a very intelligent woman and knows what she stands for. She also put it into words quoting, “I do not think that we should limit the female figure to women who are biologically female, because we already have transcended towards a new era where we can define women as those who have already changed their gender and already decided to be identified as women.”
Carina definitely has a strong opinion and remains steadfast in her opinion. Thus, she is definitely an ideal contestant to advocate inclusion and acceptance in the society. In our opinion, Carina is a strong delegate for Binibining Pilipinas 2020 and can bring a strong change in the society.
