As the Czech Miss 2016 finale is around the corner, the finalists are enjoying their training period. They are currently in Thailand, Bangkok and exploring the secrets of local cuisine. All the contestants visited the “Floating Market” and bought groceries, including lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, rice, meat, seafood etc. from there to prepare Thailands local specialties.

They cooked simple yet traditional Thai dishes and also made some exotic beverages of Thailand. However, Thai food - as exotic as it is - needs no introduction. Nowadays, Thai food in Thailand itself is a whole new experience.

The combination of sweet, sour, hot and salty flavours is what makes Thai cuisine so distinct and nowhere is it more noticeable than in the Thai national soup, “tom yam”.

All the contestants showed off their talents in preparing Thai dishes and it seemed like the contestants are a pro when it comes to cooking. Besides cooking, the girls went for sightseeing in the evening and also visited the famous Siam Niramit theater to watch the show.

The Challenging but enjoyable stay in Bangkok ended with a gala dinner under the baton of Tourism Authority of Thailand, where Ambassador of the Czech Republic PhDr. Vitezslav Grepl was also present.

"Participation in this typed of social events is very important for the finalists. All the contestants are very young and the opportunity to explore such a different culture and opportunities to meet with interesting people will give them a lot of valuable experience."  Said Vitezslav Grepl.
