Miss World is renowned for acknowledging beauties from all the Continents, allocating the title of Continental Queens at the end of the event, on the other hand, Miss Universe has never been known of signifying the continental queens per se but this year seems to highlight another constructive change brought up by the new owners of the Miss Universe organization, WME and IMG. This year, Miss Universe organization gave chance to all the continents by including them in the Top 15 finalists spot.
Since, the pageant went to the new owners, IMG and WME, the pageant highlighted a fairly new pattern with new-fangled technique and method. This year the top 15 semi-finalists spots at the finale of Miss Universe 2015 went to Brazil, Dominican Republic, Australia, Indonesia, Philippines, France, USA, Curacao, Belgium, Japan, Venezuela, South Africa, Colombia, Mexico and Thailand.
If one notices, the top 15 is inclusive of each and every continent. Representing the South America were Venezuela and Brazil, while USA, Mexico and Colombia represented North America. Dominican Republic and Curacao were the sash carriers of Caribbean. Australia represented Oceania, while Indonesia, Japan, Philippines and Thailand showcased the Asian domination. Shimmering as Europe were France and Belgium, and the sash bearer of Africa was South Africa.

Analogously, the top five at Miss Universe 2015 also hailed from different continents. While France was the spokesperson of Europe, Australia represented Oceania. USA stood for North America and Colombia symbolized South America. Philippines became the sole spokesperson of Asia.
Do you believe if the rule for inclusion of every continent at Miss Universe 2015 becomes mandatory, the competition for deserving crown contenders might become very intricate and challenging? Also, do you think that the inclusion of different continents to form a Top 15 is a mere co-incident and we might see something new in the next edition of Miss Universe? Do share your thoughts.
