Natalie Ackermann appointed as National Director for Miss Universe Germany

The Miss Universe Germany organization has recently announced former Miss Universe Germany 2006 Natalie Ackermann as the national director for the organization. This Barranquilla businesswoman will be the new President and official spokesperson of the Miss Universe Germany organization. She is also the current director of Miss Universe Colombia organisation.

She has twenty years of experience in the entertainment business under her belt. Natalie has worked as an actress, a film and television presenter, and has also been an ambassador for numerous brands. Her commitment to philanthropy and her involvement in the pageant world adds to her business leadership, making it easy for the organisation to entrust her with such a responsibility.

Hailing from Rhineland, she grew up as a bilingual with German and Spanish as her mother tongue. In 2006 she was elected Miss Germany Universe, prior to which she had previously won the Miss North Rhine-Westphalia election and qualified for the Miss Germany competition. Ackermann, who originally wanted to become a doctor, broke off her medical studies at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf in 2006 to pursue a career as a model and her acting career.

Ackermann represented Germany in Miss Universe 2006, where she was placed among the Top 21 finalists. In 2007, she represented Germany in the Miss Intercontinental competition and was adjudged as the fourth runner-up.

The diva has been making her country and the pageant industry proud for more than a decade now. The organizations under her directorship have flourished and has produced some very successful beauty queens.
