Face of Sierra Leone 2020, i.e. the fifth edition of Face of Sierra Leone, was ready to host its coronation on 17th April 2020 but has been postponed keeping the current scenario of the pandemic. The 8 contestants from all over the country were announced to compete for the crown and the opportunity to represent Sierra Leone in Miss International 2020, Miss Supranational 2020, Miss Earth 2020.
We’ve selected our Top 3 favourites for the competition who we think have potential to not only win the title but also be a role model for the people across the globe. Through this competition, the organization of Miss Universe Sierra Leone is to promote Local Tourism in Sierra Leone and to expose young Sierra Leonean women to different cultures and nationalities. Abie Mansaray is representing the province of Bombali at the Face of Sierra Leone 2020 pageant. She is one of the finalists and one of the fan favourites for the title. She is confident, strong and very determined to win the title and represent Sierra Leone at international pageants. She has stared to prepare for the competition and her strong will and dedication has been appreciated by the people she is close with and worked before. She is vying for the title of Sierra Leone 2020 and believes that she can represent the country at international level. She wants to talk about the status of women in her country and how the society’s constant demeaning attitude has been very hard on women. She has been self-assured that her step towards changing things for the women around her will help the ones who need an inspiration to take a step towards their goals and aim.
Maria is representing the province of Waterloo at the Face of Sierra Leone 2020 pageant. She is preparing herself for the competition and is very passionate about being on-stage and fashion. She wants to use the platform to create awareness about the environmental conditions in the world. She would like to talk about how one should be responsible about every action they take. She is very close to her culture and traditions and feels very lucky to be a part of the pageant which will allow her to showcase her love for the country. She is a very positive person and always ready to take on a challenge.
Natasha is representing the province of Freetown Eastern at the Face of Sierra Leone 2020 pageant. Natasha wants to win the competition and represent Sierra Leone at international beauty pageants. She has always been inclined towards pageantry and when she was appointed Miss Freetown Eastern 2020, she was very excited and honoured to be a part of such prestigious platform. The diva is confident, determined and very hardworking towards any goal she sets, and right now the goal is to win the title of Face of Sierra Leone 2020 and represent the country at any of the three international beauty pageants. Natasha has worked towards empowering women around her and wants to take it to a step further and advocate about the same at a bigger platform. Coming from a very simple background, she wants every woman across the globe but especially in her country to know that if they want to achieve something life, they must work hard for it.
