Miss World Zimbabwe has announced its finale date for the year 2017. The pageant this year will be held on 22nd July 2017. A total of 18 girls will be competing for the title this year, which will run under the theme, “Celebrating Beauty through the eyes of our Late Icon, Kiki Divaries.”
Some of the finalists will be chosen from the pageant Miss World Zimbabwe United Kingdom, to be held on July 1st. Contestants for the pageant will be selected after a well organised audition to be held in different parts of Zimbabwe.
The auditions will commence at 10am and continue till 3pm in the afternoon. According to the official reports, the Miss World Zimbabwe Organisation, “The trust entered into an agreement with organisers of Miss World Zimbabwe USA, Miss World Zimbabwe UK, Miss World Zimbabwe South Africa and Miss World Zimbabwe Canada that they will each send three representatives to the Miss World Zimbabwe bootcamp and join the local finalists,”
Anne Grace Mutambu is the reigning Miss World Zimbabwe. At the conclusion of the finale of Miss World Zmibabwe 2017, Anne will pass on her crown to her successor. This year, the pageant will be held at Borrowdale Brook Golf Course. Tendai Chirau, the spokesperson of Miss World Zimbabwe assured that the preparations are at advanced stage.
