Ms. Pregnant – Well just because your belly is on a constant expanding spree, doesn’t mean you cannot enter a beauty contest. Ms Pregnant contest sure thinks so, as there is no more hiding behind the tent sized dresses for pregnant women of twenty-first century. Ms. Pregnant celebrates beauty with a bump and yes parading the beauties in Bikini!!
Miss Landmine – Physical hindrance is no more an issue that can stop someone from feeling beautiful about self. During the civil war, there were millions of landmines which were planted in Angola. This inspired a beauty pageant for the injured women. Miss Landmine is basically a celebration of pride and empowerment over mere physical perfection and the winner gets Leg prosthesis.
Miss Artificial Beauty – Yes you heard that right, beauty which is artificial, bang your head if you’re born beautiful… this pageant isn’t for you!! In 2004, after a Chinese girl was banned from a beauty competition for having some surgery work done, a group of people decide to create this unusual contest, with one requirement only - they must have a plastic surgery. Well the pageant is too serious about its criteria as you have to provide a doctor’s certificate to prove that you have gone under the knife, at least once… more than that, might count as a bonus!!
Ms Senior Sweetheart – Who said aging is not fun, it’s scary and saddening? Well whosoever it was, would be now happy to know that aging is fun as you get to walk the beauty pageant runway and who knows you might just win yourself a beauty title. Ms Senior Sweetheart is a national pageant for lovely ladies over age 58, honouring women who have aged gracefully and is held every year in Fall River, Massachusetts. The contestants compete in talent, interviews, and an evening gown presentation.
