Born in 1985, Gal was only 18-years-old when she competed for the crown of Miss Israel 2004. Her excellent performance throughout the competition made her one of the favorite contestants of the audience and she was largely presumed to be the winner even before the actual results were announced. Fulfilling her duty as Miss Israel 2004, Gadot went on to represent Israel in Miss Universe 2004 but unfortunately wasn’t placed. After serving as the fitness readiness instructor in Israel Defense Force, she began studying law and international relations at IDC Herzliya college alongside building her modeling portfolio. In 2008, she made her first television debut starring in an Israeli drama Bubot. It was soon after her debut, she got an offer from the casting director of the famous Fast & Furious franchise who casted her over six other actresses. Gadot who has always been athletic and sporty astounded the team when she herself performed the stunts in the film. Gadot says that her experience of working with Israel Defense Forces helped her to win the role of Gisele in Fast & Furious: "I think the main reason was that the director Justin Lin really liked that I was in the military, and he wanted to use my knowledge of weapons."
Gadot gained worldwide fame when she portrayed Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe and stunned the audience with her impeccable acting skills and deep feminine strength.
