The finale of Miss Mondo Italia 2015 concluded with the crowning of Greta Galassi as the winner of Miss World Italy 2015 by the outgoing queen Silvia Cataldi. Greta will now represent Italy at the Miss World 2015 pageant to be held in Sanya, China. Greta is 17 years old and stands tall at a towering height of 5’9”. She hails from Rovereto and is currently studying languages in high school.
Greta battled out her way to the crown competing with 49 other contestants. Greta is not a newbie in the world of pageantry. She has previously won the title of Miss Mondo Trentino Alto Adige which landed her to participate at Miss Mondo Italia 2015. The final of Miss Mondo Italia 2015 was screened live and was held in the seaside resort town of Gallipolli.
In addition to the winner a Special Award was also presented to 24 years old Giulia Ardito who was awarded Miss Mundo Italy Web/Miss World Italy Web. The coronation night was hosted by Paolo Ruffini and was embellished by musical performances by various artists. At the same event, Tanya D’Avolio was adjudged the first runner up and Maura Loffarelli was adjudged the second runner-up.
Greta Galassi will now succeed her predecessor and compete at the Miss World 2015 title. Will Greta outperform Silvia at the Miss World 2015? What do you think?
